Values

At our school, we believe in nurturing not just academic success, but the character and wellbeing of every child. Our core values—Reflective, Resilient, Respectful—are at the heart of everything we do. They guide our behaviour, shape our attitudes, and help us become thoughtful and responsible members of the school and wider community.

Reflective -We encourage our pupils to think deeply about their learning and actions. Being reflective means understanding what we’ve done well, recognising where we can improve, and setting goals for the future.

Resilience - Resilience is about not giving up, even when things are tough. We teach our children to embrace challenges, bounce back from setbacks, and keep trying with a positive attitude.

Respectful - Being respectful means showing kindness, understanding, and consideration for others, as well as respecting ourselves, our school, and our environment.

These values are woven throughout our curriculum, assemblies, school rules, and reward systems. We model them as staff and celebrate them in our pupils. By living these values every day, we help our children grow into confident, caring individuals who are ready for life beyond the classroom.

Discipline

Our behaviour code of conduct follows 3 simple rules:-

Be Ready

Be Respectful

Be Safe

At all times we expect high standards of behaviour. We try to create an environment that makes a child feel safe and secure so that they have the confidence to communicate with staff and their peers which greatly reduces disciplinary problems. Positive reward systems are used throughout the school to encourage and reward good behaviour.
