This award reflects our commitment to promoting the benefits of physical activity .We offer a well balanced physical education programme in an environment that encourages physical activity and which teaches children the importance of staying active for life. Specialist dance and games teachers provide exciting projects for all of the children.

At Marshbrook we are committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of our pupils and staff through a well planned, taught curriculum in a physical and emotional environment that promotes learning and healthy lifestyle choices.
Awards
Full Dyslexia Friendly Status
This award provides a framework of good practice for pupils at risk of dyslexia. Our teachers care about the learning and welfare of all pupils and we aim to do everything we can to make sure we address pupil’s needs.
Eco Schools Silver Award
The idea behind this is to reduce the school’s impact on the environment both locally and globally. Our Eco Committee is made up of pupils from across the school. They have produced an Eco Code and introduced a number of practices to improve sustainability and save energy. Some examples of their achievements so far include: recycling of a range of materials, composting, developing a wildlife area, turning off lights when not in use and using hippo bags in the toilets
Staffordshire Anti-Bullying Pledge
We are part of the Staffordshire Anti-Bullying Pledge Scheme. This involves working to create a community where bullying is not tolerated. At Marshbrook we actively work year on year to minimise and deal with bullying
